My name is Stephanie Ballard and I am a petite busted woman. I started Bella Petite Lingerie after spending countless frustrating years looking for lingerie that would fit me and would be sexy looking. To my disappointment, I discovered that the market does not cater to petite breasted women. The majority of lingerie on the market is designed for women with larger breasts.

Women with fuller breasts are not the only ones who enjoy wearing lingerie! I would find lingerie that I liked only to be disappointed that they didn't carry it in my size. The few things that I have found offered are usually plain items, with none of the sexy, elegant styles that are offered in the larger sizes. It is great to see that lingerie stores are finally recognizing women come in many different sizes and some companies proudly display that they carry plus sizes. If the industry recognized women come in many shapes, , I wondered where are the petite sizes section of lingerie?

I decided to take this opportunity to use my degree in Business and my own personal understanding of being petite to appeal to women who face the same challenges. One of my goals is to help women embrace their natural beauty by providing lingerie that is attractive, elegant, and allows petite breasted women to feel like the sexy women they are. As petite women we are constantly faced with images throughout society that tell us that sexiness is defined by big breasts. We, and those who love us, know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and petite is very elegant and sexy.

My husband Jeff has been very instrumental in encouraging me to pursue this dream and make it a reality. Jeff is a Veternan of the War in Afghanistan and returned home in 2010. He has been extremely helpful in preparing the company to be launched. As the husband of a petite busted woman, Jeff has witnessed first hand the effect that society's view of beauty puts on women and how difficult it can be to maintain a health body image.

Photo shoot

We are pleased to work with Nicole Palermo who modeled our new line for us. I met Nicole several years ago when we were both preparing for our husband's to head off to Afghanistan. Nicole was a great choice to model our line as she is naturally beautiful and petite . We were fortunate to work with Miranda Mulligan who was the talented photographer for our photo shoot of the new line. We are are especially thankful to the owner's of the Notchland Inn who allowed us to use one of their beautiful rooms for the shoot.
